President
Reports to:
Board of Directors
Administers
the Company within the framework of the By-Laws and policies established by the
Board. The President acts as official Company representative in all matters not
specifically assigned to others. SLOC GUIDELINES - Board of Directors
Functions:
1.
Responsible to the Board of Directors for executing policies established by the
Board.
2.
Presides at meetings of the Company membership.
3.
Presides at meetings of the Board of Directors.
4.
Signs all contracts to which the Company is part, unless this function is
delegated to a duly authorized person designated by the President or the Board
of Directors.
5.
Guides and coordinates the activities of the Vice Presidents, Secretary,
Business Manager, Treasurer, and Legal Counsel, and serves as chairman of all
meetings of these Company officers.
6.
Serves as a member of the Board of Directors.
7.
Calls meetings as required to properly conduct Company business.
8.
The President shall appoint, with the approval of the Board of Directors, an
individual to serve as President in his / her absence.
9.
Forward a slate of candidates to fill the positions
10.
Schedules and hosts the annual producer - director meeting prior to the annual
membership meeting.
