Technical Leaders: See the information under Financial
Policies for SLOC requirements for purchasing and reimbursement.
Purchases: When buying items for SLOC performances, be
sure to inform the vendor of our Tax Exempt status. This will
save your show about 8% on its budget. Be ready to supply a copy
of our exemption.
Ticket Purchases: Ticket order envelopes are on the
lobby bulletin board . Fill out and place the order in the envelope or
call Sue Culver (383-9350). Orders are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets will
either be returned at a particular rehearsal, or, at your request, held
at the box office for pickup.
Win a "Dinner for Two."
Cast/staff/crew selling the most tickets wins! Either place
the ticket order yourself, or tell your relative or friend to mention/credit
your name when they place the order. It's that simple!
Rehearsals: Held at the Opera House on Mon., Wed., Fri.
(7:00-10:00 pm) and Sunday (4:00 to 7:00 pm).
The week before opening, plan on rehearsals every night and two on Sunday. (See
complete schedule.)
During the start of rehearsals, another show is rehearsing up
stairs. Be kind and courteous.
Absences: Every production is a team effort and without
the entire team, the effort suffers. If you must miss a rehearsal,
let the director or stage manager know in advance. While e-mail is
fine for advance notices, a phone call would be appreciated for those
short-time occurrences.
Emergencies happen, and we understand, but
abusive absences
will result in dismissal from the show.
Cleanliness: Pick up after yourself. We all share
the common area of the Opera House and there is no staff clean
up our messes.
Security: Please be aware that the Opera house is located
in a relatively poor region of Schenectady. Exercise caution in
coming to and leaving the theater. Also be careful to lock your
car and keep any tempting items out of sight. Within the Opera
House, keep track of your valuables - especially during performances.
The Company is not responsible for theft or damage.

has decided to stop taping shows.
