Vice-President.
Audience Services
Reports to:
President
The
Vice-President, Audience Services, is a Board-appointed, non-voting position,
providing the vital interface between SLOG and its patrons. Duties include:
1.
To appoint, instruct, and, when needed, assist chairpersons who will be
in charge of the following areas:
a.
Season Subscribers and Benefactors
b.
Box office for each show
c.
Ushers for all shows
d.
Group sales
e.
Mailing lists
f.
Edwin and Judy Brown Fund
2. Consult
with season brochure editor as to dates and format of ticket information in the
brochure and assist with the mailing of the brochure.
3. Consult
with publicity person for each show, ensuring that accurate box office
information appears in ads, flyers, posters, etc.
4. Obtain and
label seating charts for all shows.
5. Order
tickets for all shows.
6. Maintain
an up-to-date information tape on the Opera House telephone answering system.
7. Make sure
that receipts are deposited into the bank in a timely fashion and reported to
the SLOG Treasurer.
8. Keep track
of expenses, and generate an annual budget by the April Board meeting.
9. Attend
each monthly Board meeting. Present a monthly report to the Board of Directors,
and an annual report at the Annual Membership meeting in June.
10. Review
and update Vice-President, Audience Services guidelines as necessary.
11. Provide
continuity and a smooth transition by meeting with and instructing the newly
appointed Vice President, Audience Services when term of office is concluded.
