Vice President,
Company Operations
Reports to: President
The
Vice-President, Company Operations, is a Board-appointed, non-voting position
and functions for the purpose of promoting the social well-being of the
organization and providing staffing for the areas listed below. The
Vice-President, Com pan Operations shall be responsible for:
1.
Staffing the following Company Operations areas:
a.
Pot Luck Dinners
b.
Opening Night Parties
c.
Strike Parties
d.
Cast Parties
e.
Bars (at intermissions) (Bar Chairperson should arrange for people
to help set up and staff the bar.)
f.
Playbills
g.
Historian
h.
Company Membership i. Audition Arrangements j. T-Shirts
k.
Coffee / tea for rehearsals I. Calendar
2.
Informing the Board of Directors of the status of SLOC Company Operations
activities at the Board meetings and at the Annual Membership meeting.
3. Reviewing
the guidelines and job descriptions in the Policy Guide and update the
appropriate guidelines with Board approval as necessary.
4. Aid
committee chair people as required.
5.
Furnishing a budget for Company Operations activities to the Business Manager by
the April Board Meeting.
6. Provide
continuity and a smooth transition by meeting with and instructing the newly
appointed Vice-President, Company Operations, when term of office is concluded.
